I get the same build error as Martin. My system is a Debian GNU/Linux
2.2 with kernel 2.2.18, and ...
neil@laruns:~$ ldd /bin/ls
libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x4001a000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)
neil@laruns:~$ ls -l /lib/libc.so.6
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 Apr 19 22:15 /lib/libc.so.6 -> libc-2.1.3.so
