Follow-up Comment #1, bug #65162 (group grub): I also ran into the same problem. Adding gcry_sha512 to GRUB_PRELOAD_MODULES fixed this issue, but I ran into another one (GRUB doesn't work with 4096-byte sector size LUKS2: bug #68591) so I had to reformat it completely anyway (I opted to use LUKS1 as it's tried and true, it could have probably worked with 512b sector LUKS2 too).
