The 'pdf: import' code in gropdf was never completed (it was intended to do
what 'ps: import' does but I was never happy with the API). Branden said I
need not be constrained by it. There is no easy way at the moment to place an
image at a precise position on the page without a lot of fiddling with .vs 0,
changeing environments and avoiding triggering any vertical traps. Typically
these might be a logo in the top left corner or a QR code / barcode at the
very bottom of the page. Even using an image to cover a complete page is not
straightforward.
