I have a question--not to impose urgency, but to coordinate with you
regarding release management.

Do you have plans to resolve this defect in short order?

If so, I'll hold off tagging _groff_ 1.25.0.rc3 so your fix can get in.

If not, I'll go ahead with tagging as soon as I can.

When I do, I will re-announce a code freeze (as I noted a couple of
weeks ago or so, the earlier one lies in ruins due to memory safety
problems and worst).

I would _like_ rc3 to be our last RC, and do the real release next.

I do have a pile of documentation fixes still to work through that I
expect to push before and/or after the rc3 tag.
