My gripe with Texinfo's baffling rendering as shown in comment #0 is already
resolved, even in the _groff_ 1.24.2 security release, by the simple expedient
of generating _groff.txt_ with Texinfo 6.8 instead of 6.7.

Upgrading one's build environment can be useful. How about that!
I still think the file should be reëncoded, but there's no urgency. Dropping
Severity to Minor.
