Clarification: it is fixed in the source tree, and observable if you use
documentation files (info or html) built from git. The online docs at
www.gnu.org will continue to display the 1.23 documentation until the next
official release. (Or so I presume. I can't verify this now because
www.gnu.org is currently unresponsive.)
