Follow-up Comment #7, bug #67013 (group groff): Thanks for the NEWS update, Branden.
[comment #3 comment #3:] > I don't actually know for certain that this commit was to blame; Looking at the code change to font/devps/devps.am, it seems this commit was accidentally to blame. That is, devps.am seemingly _should_ have been using my system's /etc/papersize setting of "a4" all along. But my /etc/papersize specifies it exactly like that--with a lowercase "a"--and devps.am was explicitly testing for the exact string "A4", and falling back to "letter" for anything that wasn't "A4". So by now accepting any paper size in /etc/papersize, devps.am now also overturns the prior (presumably unintentional) case-sensitivity. I've never modified /etc/papersize; my installation of libpaper came with it that way by default. So I'm sure I won't be the only one surprised by groff's more liberal acceptance of this file's contents. Good to have it in NEWS. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?67013> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
