Follow-up Comment #5, bug #66501 (group groff):

I was wrong, Author is not an attribute of a pdfnote. I was led astray because
both okular and evince display a property called "Author" which can be edited
in the properties for the note, but in actual fact they edit the property
"Title" and we already have the -T flag to set the note title.

It may make sense to populate the title with pdf*metadata*Author if the -T
flag is not used, but should also allow -T "" so a blank title is still
possible if desired.

Only certain keys are allowed in a DocInfo dictionary: "/Title, /Author,
/Subject, /Keywords, /Creator, /Producer, /CreationDate, /ModDate, /Trapped",
and Creator, Producer and the two dates are initially populated by gropdf (but
can be overidden by pdfinfo, except for Producer, which is fixed). So it is
misleading to reduce the documentation to ".pdfinfo field-name content".

I've attached an example pdf.
