999f50831] added the MF configuration string to -man. -mdoc should support it
also. (A TODO for this is buried in tmac/doc.tmac, but a savannah ticket
seems less likely to fall through the cracks.)
This was to have been part of bug #63046 until that ticket's scope was
narrowed. MF was deferred due to "thorny issues with PDF hotspots to work out
for generalized hyperlink support." Any remaining such issues can be listed
as dependencies here.
