Update of bug #61394 (project groff): Status: Postponed => Invalid Assigned to: None => gbranden Open/Closed: Open => Closed
_______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #2: Revisiting after almost 2 years... I don't think it's within *roff's design to cope with this. But the user can. In AT&T *roff you could bracket the formatting of a negative register value with character translations to do the needful. You could also store the register interpolation in a string first (keeping in mind that character translation doesn't happen until _formatting_, which a string definition isn't). .tr -\- .ds a \n(nl page position is \*a .tr -- son-in-law .pl \n(nlu Withdrawing; closing as invalid. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?61394> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
