Follow-up Comment #16, bug #63074 (project groff): Around comment #4, this bug report took a turn from what was originally reported to its current state.
> Processing your sample file with the U-TR font in font/devpdf spits out a few "can't find special character" warnings, Assuming the messages were specifically of the form: troff:ATTIC/makhnovshchina.groff:1: warning: special character 'u0413' not defined ...then this issue arises from a font lacking coverage for a glyph required by the document. This came up again this past week on the groff development list. https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/groff/2023-03/msg00100.html > When I process the file with your patch applied, it produces the same result (missing characters) but adds several more of the unavoidable "can't transparently output node at top level" warnings. This issue is different, Deri covered it extensively in comment #11, and it is now the the focus of this ticket. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?63074> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
