Summary: Broken aliases in PDF font description file Project: GNU troff Submitter: None Submitted: Fri 19 Aug 2022 10:15:22 PM UTC Category: General Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: None Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Planned Release: None _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fri 19 Aug 2022 10:15:22 PM UTC By: Anonymous GROFF VERSION: 1.23.0.rc1.2845-342a1-dirty OS: GNU/Linux COMPILER: clang COMMAND LINE: groff -e file.troff -Tpdf > file.pdf DESCRIPTION OF INCORRECT BEHAVIOUR: On line 4427 of XITSMR (font description file) I defined an alias with name bracerightex for braceleftex but the PDF output looks very broken (file.pdf). PS output is rendered just fine to some reason. Interestinly, if I copy braceleftex char info and replace the name with bracerightex (effectively making the alias), the output is rendered as expected. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fri 19 Aug 2022 10:15:22 PM UTC Name: file.troff Size: 115B By: None <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=53586> ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fri 19 Aug 2022 10:15:22 PM UTC Name: XITSMath-Regular.pfa Size: 1MiB By: None <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=53587> ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fri 19 Aug 2022 10:15:22 PM UTC Name: file.pdf Size: 689KiB By: None <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=53588> ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fri 19 Aug 2022 10:15:22 PM UTC Name: XITSMR Size: 155KiB By: None <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=53589> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?62923> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
