Summary: much documentation still recommends bug-groff@gnu.org for filing bug reports Project: GNU troff Submitted by: barx Submitted on: Mon 29 Oct 2018 12:30:31 AM CDT Category: None Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: Documentation Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Planned Release: None _______________________________________________________ Details: The groff documentation should point to this bug tracker as the preferred place to report bugs. Most of the documentation currently points to bug-groff@gnu.org, but issues sent there that aren't addressed right away are likely to get lost. Running this command in the top-level groff source directory: find . -type f -exec egrep 'bug\\?-groff[@ ]' {} \; | wc -l shows 28 results. Not all of these needs to be changed, but many do. This is an edit I can make myself and submit a patch for. This will take a little time, and I wanted to put the issue in the bug tracker first, even without a patch, so that there's a record of it. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?54910> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ bug-groff mailing list bug-groff@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-groff
