On the macOS 12 machine, a Gnulib testdir now compiles fine, and usually all tests pass.
Usually, because sometimes the test-system-quote.sh test fails, reporting that a system() invocation failed with status 768 (= 0x0300). Sounds weird... Log is attached. Bruno
