Bootstrapping, as well as repetition of autoreconf, with Inetutils master at HEAD fails with both of

Observe that the backstep is to the commit just before the modification of m4/00gnulib.m4 which introduced gl_COMPILER_PREPARE_CHECK_DECL. Simon Josefsson produced a release candidate with an even earlier gnulib snapshot than I can use to reach the success as given above. Best regards, Mats E A
