Hrm. I did use git format-patch, but apparently something went wrong when I inserted the text; I assumed Evo would not reformat if I used "Insert text file" but perhaps that was naive. I've never figured out how to use git send-email with SMTP servers which require secure connections. Probably I should do that, someday. I'll resend.
