    Thanks.  So, here is the update from 0.18.3 released yesterday.

Thanks very much, Daiki.  The changes all look good (not that that
matters), but I suspect the recommended way to install such patches with
git involves options to specify authorship and the changelog text, and I
don't know what they are.

Can some gnulib-ber with more git-fu than me (which is all of you, I'm
sure) install it, please?  I'll attach Daiki's patch again, to save you
the trouble of finding it in the old mail :).
