Thanks.  That's a violation of POSIX; have you reported it to the NetBSD
folks?  Meanwhile, we should document it in the autoconf manual [hence
the added cc].

At any rate, your patch makes sense, so I've applied it.  I added (tiny
change) in the ChangeLog, to indicate that this patch was trivial enough
to not need copyright assignment on file.
