No. The script probably doesn't work because I'm working from a tertiary repo. I had problems with early versions of git when I wanted to toss what I'd been playing with, so I now use a pristine repo from which I draw my playpen repo. It's likely I don't need to do that now...... $ git --version git version 1.7.1 I'm using openSuSE 11.3 (hence the modern bash). Cheers - Bruce
