I understand this, but I have real world constraints on my time. So as I was trying to say, if it can't be examined independently, I understand and am fully prepared to deal with it not being resolved soon. But I wouldn't think that should prevent me from letting you know of a potential issue I found. > No one can research your issue, until you provide a reproducible sample. By "I do appreciate the effort in thinking about the issue and researching it," I meant "thank you for already taking the time ahead of further discussion to google around until you found my post to the MinGW-w64 folks" (IOW, I was trying to be nice). And yes, someone *can* research it, but no one's willing to take the time to do so. I understand that and I'm not asking anyone to. And I don't have time to learn another codebase right now in order to come up w/ an example. It's just the reality of my schedule. Please just take it for what it's worth -- a simple notification that a user *might* have found a bug.
