Already fixed in gnulib since 2008-04-22: http://git.savannah.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=gnulib.git;a=commitdiff;h=56feeb13d6ee860c4ba0a1b5020a2a9a55fe67b9 > A similar bug was > mentioned in <http://www.mail-archive.com/bug-gnulib@gnu.org/msg09800.html>. > Could you try that patch and let me know if it fixes your problem? Better try the followup patch in <http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-gnulib/2008-04/msg00258.html>. Note that gnulib version e5573b1bad88bfabcda181b9e0125fb0c52b7d3b is from 2007-12-20, whereas findutils-4.4.2 was released on 2009-06-06. Nowadays, if you fear to pick up instabilities when upgrading to newer gnulib versions, you can mitigate this risk by using the stable snapshots that Ian Beckwith publishes for us at http://erislabs.net/ianb/projects/gnulib/ Bruno
