copyright question on recent autoupdate

I just noticed that with the recent autoupdate, config.sub now has a copyright 
of 2010 but a timestamp of 2009-12-30 two lines later.  It looks rather 
awkward.  Is there any legal issue with listing a copyright year too soon?
