Now that the gnulib bug is fixed and an improved test-pipe.c checked in there, here's the patch series that I needed to get bison to use it; I took your WIP patch, merged in the latest from master, and fixed some other things along the way (such as upgrading to the latest autoconf m4/m4.m4). What do you think of this series? How much of it (if any) should we be thinking about cherry-picking into branch-2.5? Do you want me to push this into savannah's candidate namespace, overwriting your WIP patch? $ git pull git://repo.or.cz/bison/ericb.git create-pipe-bidi Akim Demaille (4): gnulib: improve prefixing. build: fix paths. build: ship the stamp files of the srcdir files. build: fix generation of man pages. Eric Blake (5): Merge commit 'origin' into create-pipe-bidi Clean up non-recursive make. Import latest m4/m4.m4. Import latest bootstrap script. Use pipe module for more robust m4 subprocess. - -- Don't work too hard, make some time for fun as well!
