http://sourceware.org/ml/cygwin-developers/2008-04/msg00094.html Yes. Cygwin 1.5.x mistakenly exported a broken wprintf. Until more fundamental functions such as wcstod exist, there is no feasible way to implement wprintf, so cygwin 1.7 currently has no export of wprintf. -- Eric Blake
