So, everyone is modifying this file based on guesswork? Stop, please. I wrote openmp.m4, incorporating magic from autoconf that I don't understand. But I copied it literally and tested it. Jim and Simon, it looks like you don't understand this autoconf magic either, like me. Then it's futile to guess which among [C], [C++] etc. should be quoted or not. Please revert the entire modification of openmp.m4. Simon, thanks for having noticed the problem. I gave Jim a green light, hoping the best. Sorry, it was also my mistake. Bruno
