Good to hear! > On Irix 5.3 it skips test-cstack2.sh because it wants libsigsegv for full > c-stack functionality and I did not test with that > (Irix really needs libsigsegv 2.7 which is not yet released). That's Bruno's call, but it does not hold up a release of m4 1.4.12. > > On Irix 6.x gnulib test-signbit still fails: > test-signbit.c:149: assertion failed > /bin/ksh[10]: 18432 Abort(coredump) > FAIL: test-signbit That line is "ASSERT (!signbit (-zerol));". I wonder if we're tripping over some compiler bugs; at any rate, it is in the area of code where we still don't have an answer for the HP compiler bug on how to reliably compile -0.0L (minus_zerol in the if on line 146 is not necessarily the same as -zerol in the ASSERT, so the wrong if branch may have been taken). Can you post the relevent section of config.log related to signbit tests? - -- Don't work too hard, make some time for fun as well!
