That reminds me (to remind you :-): Simon, don't forget about the forked base64.c in coreutils: coreutils/gl/lib/base64.h coreutils/gl/lib/base64.c It'd be nice to make that improvement available through gnulib, one way or another. When we last talked about this, you didn't have time, so I forked it in order to fix coreutils' base64 program. Just a friendly reminder. I'm in no hurry. Jim
