I agree with Ralf that it's most likely tied to the issue I reported two days ago: In summary (thanks Ralf for the insights), Automake's dependency mechanism doesn't work for object files added to lib..._LIBADD and lib..._DEPENDENCIES. > I hope someone finds the time to bell this cat soon!
