Hello,
I found a bug in ps2pdf version 9.06 running in Ubuntu 12.10.
I only know how to reproduce the error, starting from the beggining
with latex, but it is not difficult.
Note that, due to some restrictions, I am not able to use pdflatex. I
am forced to go through latex -> dvips -> ps2pdf.
The simplest tex file I could reproduce the error is 5 lines:
\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{amssymb}
\begin{document}
$a\widehat{m\circ m}c$
\end{document}
After latex, dvips and ps2pdf:
- the dvi is ok,
- the ps is also ok,
- but the pdf is NOT ok.
The problem in the pdf file is that only the first half of the widehat
symbol is shown over the m\circ m.
The same happens with ps2pdf13 and ps2pdf12.
