Thanks for looking about this issue but I can't apply any of this commit
in gs 8.71, the trunk is far away the 8.71 version and these fixes will
wait for the 9.0 release.

I agree with Debian on this point, that's why I've only added a
configure option to enable -dSAFER default ;)

I haven't any feedback about the test release of GNU gs 8.71.0, I will
publish the tarball officially this week !
