Have you tried to install gs from a ghostscript.com download page like
the sourceforge one ?

In this case you are on the wrong place to report a bug. GNU
Ghostscript doesn't provide a Windows version, only AFPL or GPL
provide such versions (and only for 98 to XP, not Vista at the
moment).
