Awesome, thank you for merging this so incredibly quickly!
My (naive) intent with the additional locating rule was to maybe trick Gettext
into recognizing both names for the file (apparently, it doesn't work that way
^^).
I think your changes are fine though - although the metainfo name is more
consistent, since this was known as appdata before in Gettext and that term is
still widely used, going the safe route and keeping it exclusively makes
sense.
Changing this would have a high risk of breaking translation in projects which
explicitly define the name.
