I too encountered this while building the RC version on a machine in the opencsw build farm, but ignored it because it seemed like a site-specific issue. I even get: Error in post-command-hook (global-font-lock-mode-check-buffers): (file-error "Cannot open load file" "no such file or directory" "time-date") when launching Emacs with "emacs -Q" there.
