Thanks a lot! I'm going to apply the patch as is. Simple question: Would it make sense to modify the "PACKAGING" file accordingly? (See attached patch for an example). I don't quite understand why this gettext-VERSION is needed. Do you support co-installation of several gettext versions at once? In such case, where /usr/bin/gettext is supposed to come from?
