Summary: gettext configure fails without a C++ compiler Project: GNU gettext Submitted by: None Submitted on: Sa 11 Apr 2015 10:06:10 UTC Category: None Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: None Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: If no C++ compiler is available, the configure phase of gettext-0.19.4 fails, even when you give the "--disable-c++" option to the main configure script. This is because the libasprintf configure (which does need C++) is run unconditionally, even when gettext-runtime/configure has decided not to build libasprintf. The attached patch makes the AC_CONFIG_SUBDIRS conditional on libasprintf enabled. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sa 11 Apr 2015 10:06:10 UTC Name: patch-gettext-runtime_configure.ac Size: 407B By: None proposed patch <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=33636> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?44808> _______________________________________________ Nachricht gesendet von/durch Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
