FYI, I've removed about 26MB from coreutils' po/*.po,v files. I noticed that the po/ directory was taking up about 60% of the space in coreutils' repository. Most of that came from *.po,v files.
I've removed a lot of useless deltas, but was careful to leave any revision that is referenced by a tag, as well as the first and last of each file. FYI, this is acceptable only because those files are automatically generated. In other cases, we wouldn't want to do this, since it deletes a log message for each removed node. I did the same to the file named `configure'.
