First off, gnuls appears to be a subset of coreutils, so you are better
off directing your bug reports to whomever provided that subset (NetBSD?),
since we don't know what they stripped out from the official upstream
sources.  Secondly, why not try coreutils-5.94 - maybe the bug that was
present in 5.2.1 (which is several years old) has been fixed in the
meantime (and in the process, you would get the complete coreutils package
instead of a subset):

Also, you are still missing the chunk of config.log that shows the file
that ./configure attempted to compile when checking for sys/mount.h, as
well as the compiler output explaining why it failed.  Without that
information, we can't tell if it is a bug in the configure script, in your
system headers, or in your choice of compiler options.
