I had this problem with an old version of md5sum. See attached. I don't know if it has been fixed in the new version I have now: md5sum (GNU textutils) 2.0 Win32
I couldn't find the changelog. Since I'm writing, there's also something that bothers me with this version. The \ that's added to the beginning of the md5sum when going outside the directory. Like so: I:\temp>md5sum ..\drivekey\* \88ea633d68099cdbf637465d6e841061 *..\\drivekey\\EULA.doc \11819c6cb0036aa5fde20804bcc1ac3a *..\\drivekey\\HPUSBF.EXE \2b9b789296505f3eb8c4c3715d339077 *..\\drivekey\\HPUSBFW.EXE Is it supposed to be like that? because I don't remember that \ being prepended in older versions. Thanks for reading & please don't give out my e-mail. -Ray --- Ray Satiro <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > From Ray Satiro Thu Mar 2 20:08:53 2006 > Received: from [69.121.25.163] by > web35309.mail.mud.yahoo.com via HTTP; Thu, 02 Mar > 2006 20:08:53 PST > Date: Thu, 2 Mar 2006 20:08:53 -0800 (PST) > From: Ray Satiro <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: md5sum d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > MIME-Version: 1.0 > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 > Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit > Content-Length: 968 > > Hi.
