Commit 4ee1d7e401a8c1aedfdc86aac7faa8267eab1e5c which was applied to the git
repository broke generating of hint numbers in import libraries produced by GNU
LD. Issue is same as described in another bug report comment:
https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=20814#c8
objdump -p improvements done in bug #31738 shows that hint numbers in the final
executable linked with import lib generated by LD are really wrong after this
change.
So I would propose to revert this commit
4ee1d7e401a8c1aedfdc86aac7faa8267eab1e5c as it makes situation even worse.
