The --format=posix / --portability flags in nm produce output that is not
strictly POSIX compliant according to
http://pubs.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/9699919799/utilities/nm.html.
nm currently prints leading zeroes for the value and size fields, which are not
specified in the standard.
