Alright, I managed to fix it.  It wasn’t LTO’s fault.

Rather the distribution put files from libc on locations, where libc’s “make
install” does not overwrite, so at the end the linker loaded files from old
distribution’s linker files… and it loaded libBrokenLocale.a, as I have
manually removed only the .so files.  It is very hard to replace libc coming
from a distribution with a self-compiled one.
