Hello, I was using GCC 4.1.1/ binutils 2.16.1 as normal, and received the following output:
-----BEGIN ERROR OUTPUT----- /usr/local/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/../../../../i686-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: BFD 2.16.1 internal error, aborting at ../../binutils-2.16.1/bfd/cache.c line 496 in bfd_cache_lookup_worker /usr/local/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/../../../../i686-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: Please reporth this bug. -----END ERROR OUTPUT----- I was attempting to compile git-1.4.1, which has compiled successfully with this toolchain several times in the past, in the exact same environment. I have no idea what may have caused this, nor what might have changed between builds.
