This can still be reproduced after the fix pushed today.
Somewhat simplified version:

    ./bash -n <<< \
    $'x[$(() #\'\n$(#\'\n)$(x[$(() #\'\n$(<<EOF\n\'\nEOFcase x in x)x=(]\n)]'

    ERROR: AddressSanitizer: SEGV on unknown address 0x0000ffffffff
