There appears to be a problem with 2.68 and maybe others. It 100% misses ${exec-prefix} (fails). So it tries to put things in /bin and not /usr/bin Even with ${prefix} set to /usr (which works). I have openSuSE 11.4 M5 and it and some other recent version fail ${exec-prefix}. A fellow told me of a way to get around it by adding something to (as I remember) Makefile.am which was something like EXEC_PREFIX = @exec-prefix@

*Does anyone know of a way to solve this problem short of "sed -i"*
