Summary: autotest macros require double quotes now Project: Autoconf Submitted by: kilobyte Submitted on: Wed 22 Jul 2009 09:01:39 PM GMT Category: None Priority: 5 - Normal Severity: 3 - Normal Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Operating System: None _______________________________________________________ Details: If autotest macros like AT_SETUP receive an argument that contains non-kosher characters, autotest fails unless the argument is quoted twice. For example, in a project where commands start with hash, many test descriptions include the hash character. AT_SETUP([#blah]) used to work in autoconf 2.61, in 2.63 it doesn't anymore -- AT_SETUP([[#blah]]) is required. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?106943> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
