This patch fixes an issue with TeX-view, pdf-tools and TeX-pdf-tools-sync-view in narrowed buffers. A related one-line PR was submitted to pdf-tools in July 2023 (https://github.com/vedang/pdf-tools/pull/222) but has not been processed. I see no harm in addressing the issue "redundantly" on the AUCTeX side.
