Hi Brian, thank you for sharing this information. We already have a file README-6-porting where we collect information about how to compile GNU APL on operating systems other than GNU/Linux. There are already some sections for different BSD versions and if you or Alexander have more information available then I will be happy to include them in README-6-porting.
