If I knew where that was I would use it. Being very new to the Linux world I 
find documentation of such things sparse and assumed based on searches that 
ftp.gnu.org<ftp://ftp.gnu.org> would be the most current source. If that's 
wrong, please enlighten me.

I think this would be more helpful if you ran it on the latest source code 
repository version.  It is known to contain many bug fixes already.
