Greetings, The preferences file contains name/value pairs. It would be nice to be able to specify arbitrary name/value pairs that can be accessed from within APL somehow. For example, let's say you store your component files an a standard place, or you use a certain default SQL database. It would be nice to be able to specify those default/global values in the preferences file.
