On other Router Platforms, I use VRFs in several ways... Management: On other platforms, as an internal standard, I always create an "MGMT-InBand" VRF. - A single interface(usually Vlan), a default route, and all the management(SSH, SNMP, etc) protocols restricted to that VRF.
